Jessica Smith-Morrison
Founder
With 11 years of experience in the developmental services field, Jessica’s career began as a graduate of Niagara College in Educational Assistance and Adult Supports, where she initially supported students in classroom settings. During that time she dedicated her evenings and summers to working with individuals of all ages through a non-profit organization. Motivated by her experiences, Jessica pursued further education in Autism & Behavioural Science to specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals. After transitioning to full-time work within the non-profit sector, she was responsible for program creation and oversight. Over time, recognizing a gap in services and supports for individuals and families in the Niagara Region led her to shift focus to development of programming that cultivates an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment where the community’s input is valued and their needs are individually met.
Allyesa Stewart
Founder
Allyesa has worked in the field of developmental services for 12 years, in roles ranging from direct support work, to program oversight, managing day-to-day operations, and coordination of financials. With 10 of those years spent working for a province- wide non-profit, overseeing programs run on a local level, Allyesa brings a wealth of knowledge of the sector, as well as a grass-roots understanding of the needs in Niagara. Allyesa is a certified trainer in BMS (Behaviour Management Systems), as well as a recent Niagara 40 Under 40 Alumni. Allyesa carries the strong belief of “nothing about them without them”, and uses this principle to drive her work, making the inclusion of voices of caregivers and foremost individuals with disabilities the centre of her practice

Adaptive Trails Support Services is governed by a board of directors, comprised of members of the community who are always actively seeking ways to create a more inclusive and adaptive space for all!
